Size and subject matter present no problem. We thrive on challenges and
have undertaken projects from post-card sized photos to an Egyptian Print
on Papyrus 6’ x 3’.

These items tend to require smaller frames than say, paintings and oils
and therefore lend themselves more readily to ‘on line’ purchasing. If this
is the requirement we strongly recommend asking us to quote. (See section
‘Quotation’ below)

Generally, items in this category are from middle to large size. Options
on framework and mount- boards become more numerous and decision- making
more complex. But again, given the ease with which samples and briefings
can be communicated these days, not impossible. It will still be worthwhile
getting a quote.

Artwork in this category requires ‘stretching’ before framing. With Oils
there will be no back, mount- board or glass – very straightforward. Some
clients prefer their needlework to be without mount- board or glass but
most appreciate the extra enhancement they give the work as well as the
protection they provide

For this category, generally a ‘3D’ frame is required. Its depth depends
on the depth of the subject. When requesting a quotation it is important
to provide the full information. At least one mount- board will be required
and the framework itself will probably need a deeper rebate. Sports Shirts
are often framed without resorting to the ‘3 D’ technique.

We now offer two types of Service to customers :

Is for you, if you are able to visit our showroom – with all the benefits
of a personal consultation and a speedy decision on exact specification.

Is for you, if you cannot pay us a visit. If you cannot come to us we
will come to you. We believe that, with modern systems of communication,
and by replacing glass with an unbreakable acrylic, a service in this way
can be practical. . Here’s how:-
1. You are invited to dowload a selection of over 50 frames and 20 mountbaords
as way of colour prints. (See downloads).
A 'mini-showcase' for your consideration.
2. You then contact us either for more information or with a framing project
in mind (See quotation request). Contact is established and comntinued by
phone, email or post. Actual samples of the two or three most favoured frames
would be sent to help make a final decision..
3. After discussions between us a final decision is made on the specification
which enables us to give a quotation for the work itself and
packing and carriage.
4. You send the artwork to us. Flexible artwork eg, prints, photos, needlework,
sport shirts, etc can be despatched in tubes or parcels (provided if necessary)
‘3D’ artwork eg decoupage, should be boxed. Full payment as per the quotation
would be required at this stage. Just Frames reserves the right to re-negotiate
the price should we, upon seeing the artwork, find that it differs significantly
from the brief on which the quotation was based.
